Svelte Office Chair

project information

year:1999
  • This office seating range is very thin and light and is also amply equipped with an invisible number of ingenious ergonomic mechanisms. This chair represents a contribution to a "soft-tech" approach where the emotional qualities of the product prevail over the expression of its technological capabilities. Inside the thin backrest, there are incorporated very sophisticated devices to provide independent, automatic dorsal support.
  • The backrest support not only ascends and descends, but it also tilts at different angles independently, or in synch with the angle changes of the seat. The seat can slide forward and backward to accommodate different users and has the capacity of tilting forward to avoid exercising pressure on the users thighs when leaning on a desk. The armrests pivot at the point of the elbows and follow the forearm's movement. Perforated fabrics covers both seat back for extra comfort and breathability.
