- Polyphemus is based on sectioning an elliptical cylinder at a 45-degree angle to create a circle, on which a rotating flashlight head turns. By bending the flashlight into an L-configuration, it can easily be carried, and, ergonomically speaking, it is more comfortable to the hand and wrist in such a position. Built from separate male and female parts and then snapped together, the flashlight can stand or lay on any surface while its light beam is aimed in any direction. Additionally, the flashlight holds a magnet inside so that it can be attached to a metal surface.
